Greetings
The Canadian Precision Aerobatics Team will be representing Canada in the upcoming 2023 World FAI F3A Championships in Warwick, Queensland, Australia .
We are in the early stages of planning for the trip and are appealing for financial support. Canada has a longstanding history of sending our best F3A flyers to this event. Flying state of the art, electric powered precision aerobatic model aircraft will be Chad Northeast from Calgary AB, Michi Akimoto from Victoria BC, Henry Piorun from Mission BC, and alternate Will Gross from Red Deer AB.
Sending a team to a major event such as the World Championships requires a committed group of people with solid financial backing. We have some funding from the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada but we also rely on donations from both
companies and individuals to help offset team expenses.
Although individual competitors supply all their own planes and equipment, additional
costs can be substantial as entry fees alone can surpass $900 each. Airline tickets,
vehicle rentals, accommodations, licenses and team uniforms also add to the overall
cost.
As Canada’s F3A Team Manager, I am asking for support in the form of a monetary
donation from you or your company. Any amount is appreciated with as much of these
funds as possible being spent within our communities (uniforms etc).
Your support and help is greatly appreciated!
Dave Reaville - Team Manager
